Here is a list of 11 links to the 11 legs that I rode during my recent LeJog trip.
They are the Garmin route files of what I actually cycled, including diversions, rather than what I’d planned to ride. Many diversions were effectively unsigned and some of the off-course routing was to get food or to get to my accommodation.
Each day’s leg was nominally 100 miles but with Leg 1 being a train journey to Penzance, a ride to Land’s End and then a short leg to the first night’s finish point.
Leg 11 similarly was a short ride to John O’Groats and then on to Thurso to catch the following day’s train.
Some of the route was rather overgrown with nettles and brambles. Other sections were beautiful wide cycle paths. There were many towpaths and former railways. Some sections were challenging to stick to cycle routes due to poor or missing signage but invariably I soon found myself back on the correct route. Some sections were a cycle lane as part of the main carriageway. Some sections, particularly near the end, were simply riding on the carriageway.

Brilliant I will attempt this one day when other rides are done. I’ve got The Transatlantic Way next june after scratching this rear. This looks a great route. Well done on your ride and this page.
